Riverside, London
Place a piece. Then make a little room for yourself.

Drag a corner to resize proportionally. Use the small up and down arrows to bring a piece forward or send it backward. Drag the turn handle to rotate; hold Shift to snap to fifteen degrees. Arrow keys adjust a focused handle. Escape cancels a drag.

Ground and water areas use the same editing controls as other objects. Drag to move, or use arrow keys. Select for corner resize handles, rotation, mirror controls and a delete button. The small layer arrows change overlap among ground and water areas. Garden objects stay above the ground.

Welcome to Heart Garden

A little space, just for you.

Create your own peaceful retreat. Choose your surroundings, soften the light, add calming sounds and make this space your own.

A gentle moment, at your own pace.

Your garden, your choice

Welcome to your Heart Garden

A small place to begin.

Build a space that feels like yours, one meaningful piece at a time. Garden, Reflect and Rest sit together in your garden menu. Rest here puts the controls away; Return brings them back.

  1. Choose something.

Each piece has a different connection to rest, hope, choice or connection.

  2. Spend a moment with it.

Choose Reflect to open an object’s close-up. Touch, turn or tend the object directly. Choose an activity at your own pace. Memory stones can hold an optional name or date, kept only in this browser.

  3. Make yourself at home.

Drag a piece, ground area or pond, or use the arrow keys. Its controls let you resize, turn and move it. Add sand, grass, moss, gravel or a pond from Garden. Use the rake attached to sand, or open sand tools from Ground. The board smooths only the part you pass over. Select a piece, ground area or pond for four corner handles and a turn handle above it. Drag a corner to resize proportionally, or the turn handle to rotate. Hover over a piece for its × button, which removes just that copy. Keyboard focus also reveals it; on touch screens, select a piece in Garden. The copy button adds another of that piece. Furniture colours and ground shapes open only when you choose their options button. Use Undo to restore your last edit. Choose View for the moon’s phase, size and position. Pond options include four border styles. The bin icon in the main menu empties this garden; Undo brings it back. My gardens opens the starting choices. Build My Own Garden lets you choose an empty garden style and keeps earlier arrangements in Save. View changes the background and light. For keyboard sand tools, Space lowers or lifts the tool and arrows move it.

Your garden, your thoughts.

Only the appearance of your gardens — pieces, sizes, ground areas, sand patterns, lighting and views — is kept in this browser. Optional memory-stone engravings are also kept only in this browser and are not sent to us. Clearing your browser data also clears the garden. A picture lets you keep a copy.

About the quiet practices

The breathing and attention prompts draw on NHS breathing guidance, NHS inform grounding exercises and NHS mindfulness information. These are optional wellbeing invitations, not treatment. You can keep your eyes open, skip any sense, or stop if a practice is uncomfortable.
